Day 1 La Grande Motte and Montpellier
In the morning, meet your local guide in la Grande Motte. Guided visit through this seaside resort that was built during the 60’S . La Grande Motte is still famous for its atypical architecture nowadays classified as “Patrimony of the 20th century”.
Following your guide discover moderns buildings such as the Fidji, Temple of the Sun or the Great Pyramid inspired by Aztec Pyramids.
Lunch: Enjoy a typical lunch in the centre of the resort or in the city center of Montpellier.
In the afternoon, drive toward Montpellier. There discover the new neighbourhoods showing the dynamism of this city. Arriving by Palavas Avenue enjoy a panoramic view from the bus over the new City Hall and all the contemporary architecture that surrounds it.
Discover districts such as Jacques Coeur and Port Marianne districts and end your tour walking from the Lez riverside toward the famous neighbourhood of Antigone, designed by the Catalan architect: Ricard Bofill.
