Program
Day 1 Arrival in Bordeaux
Make yourself comfortable in your 4-star hotel in the heart of Bordeaux.
Then, go for a stroll in the city and along the banks of the Garonne accompanied with your guide! We particularly recommend you to discover the Place de la Bourse, the quays of the Garonne or the famous rue Ste Catherine, a must for shopping in Bordeaux
Day 3 Pilat and Arcachon
Direction the Ocean and the Arcachon basin.
Embark on a traditional boat of the basin, called pinasse, to discover the island of birds and its famous traditional houses on stilts.
In the afternoon, stroll through the port of Arcachon and the winter town, where the most beautiful houses of the Belle Epoque will surprise you. Don't forget to pass by the Dune du Pilat, the highest in Europe, from where you will enjoy a splendid panorama of the Atlantic Ocean and the nearby Landes forest.
Night in your 4* hotel in Bordeaux.
Day 4 Basque coast on bike
Get on your electric bikes and follow the "Velodyssée" to St Jean de Luz.
Accompanied by your guide, you will cross the ports and traditional villages like Bidart and Guethary to reach St Jean de Luz.
All along the way, enjoy the exceptional views of the coast!
Night in your 4* hotel in Biarritz
Day 7 Departure
It's time to leave....
But enjoy the last hours in Biarritz to discover its market. As an option, we suggest you a Basque cooking class to bring back home all the flavors of the country.

Reviews
If we had any questions: We had direct contact with Sabine Affre from Guidesud and she usually gave us very quick and punctual answers and helped us on our way, very nice.
Minus points or points of attention. It is quite an exhausting journey with 1 or more excursions every day.
The hotel in Lourdes (Gallia et Londres) received us in an unfriendly manner, we got the feeling that we were not welcome. But for them that may have been due to the Tour de France crowds with teams from Skoda and Shimano in the hotel.
Furthermore, July 14 was Bastille day in Biarritz which made it impossible to get out of the parking garage, and it was also very busy to return there in the evening. We were able to agree with the excursion for that day that we could reschedule it for the next day.
So overall: a very nice and beautiful trip.
