Immerse yourself in a fairy-tale experience, stroll through enchanting settings of Christmas, and take part in extraordinary workshops and tours. Meet your private guide at your hotel. Drive first to Chambord. In the colossal Chateau de Chambord, you can appreciate the work of Leonardo da Vinci and great French architects. The Château de Chambord is one of the most widely recognized of the Loire Chateau with its distinctive French Renaissance architecture which, in the 16th century, blended French medieval design with classical Renaissance structures. The chateau which was constructed by King Francis 1 of France as a hunting lodge is surrounded by 13,000 acres of wooded park which is a game reserve. The chateau is most noted for its extraordinary roofscape and open double-spiral staircase. Then drive to Chenonceau : The history of the Château de Chenonceau is defined by a an almost uninterrupted succession of women who built, embellished, protected, restored and saved it. The first château was a medieval château dating from the 12th and 13th centuries, of which only the dungeon remains: the Tour des Marques.

AM: Built on the hillside, Blois is a city made for walking, with stairs, slopes and climbs everywhere. Forming a bank of the Loire, it offers a magnificent view of the Royal River and the Jacques Gabriel Bridge, built in the eighteenth century. Don't miss the Renaissance mansions of rue du Puits-Châtel, or the "Maison des acrobates" on Place Saint-Louis, one of the oldest buildings in Blois dating back to the reign of Louis XI. It was crowned "The most beautiful house in France" in 1960. To allow you to discover the city at your own pace, four pedestrian circuits marked with bronze studs in the ground which guide you around the different districts: the surroundings of the château and the royal gardens, Puits-Châtel, the surroundings of the old abbeys, and the left bank with its magnificent panorama.
