Day 1 Carcassonne and Limoux

Morning arrival in Carcassonne. Guided visit of the medieval city: discover the curtained walls, the medieval streets and St Nazaire basilica. Gourmet lunch in the restaurant of the city.

After lunch, enjoy a wine tasting next to the city.

Guided visit in Limoux town discovering the oldest sparkling wine of France, the Blanquette.

Accommodation in your 4-star hotel in Carcassonne. Dinner and night.

In the morning, leave Carcassonne in direction of the Lastours castles, in the Cabardes area, north of Carcassonne. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view over the region. Then, drive to Aragon village to discover the church and its medieval painting on woods.

After the visit, lunch in a local restaurant.

Afternoon departure for a local wine cellar and a Cabardes wine tasting.

Day 3 The Minervois region

Departure from your hotel to the Minervois region. Guided walk through vineyard and olive grow up estate. Commented Minervois wine and olive tastings from the estate.

The lunch in a restaurant will be accompanied by the wine you have tasted in the morning.

The afternoon is dedicated to the so-called gods' nectar, the Muscat from St Jean de Minervois. Enjoy another wine tasting of natural and sweet wines.

Travel along the Minervois region to reach the Fontfroide abbey. Guided visit of the abbey, and wine tasting from the abbey’s estate.

Enjoy a lunch at the abbey restaurant. After lunch, drive to Lagrasse village.

Visit the medieval village and the gothic church, the old bridge and the Romanesque abbey.

Day4 Fontfroide Abbey and the Corbieres region

Day 5 Cathar Castles and Maury winery

Step back in time to the Cathar period. Guided visit of Queribus, the last place of resistance at the end of the Cathar crusade. Enjoy a lunch at the "Table Vigneronne" of Cucugnan.

After lunch, reach Peyrepertuse castle for a panoramic tour. This is one of the best preserved of Cathars fortresses. Visit and tasting of the Maury wines.

Dinner and overnight at 4-star hotel in the charming village of Collioure.

In the morning, departure for a guided visit in Collioure and the Castle from where you may discover the stunning surrounding landscape thanks to a panoramic view.

Lunch in Collioure.

In the early afternoon, reach the village of Fitou for a visit and a tasting of the Fitou's wines.

Dinner and overnight at 4-star hotel in the charming village of Collioure.
