Day 1 Montpellier - Les Matelles or St Guilhem
In the morning, find your guide in the city centre for the discovery of Montpellier of the Middle Ages. Guided tour along the way of St Jacques de Compostelle crossing the city, with evocation of a famous pilgrim, St Roch.
Lunch: Stopping to have lunch in the historical heart of Montpellier, called the Badge
In the afternoon, 2 options :
- Departure (bus or car) to the north of the city, to discover first of all the medieval village completely restored, les Matelles, then the church of St Martin de Londres. The village has a church of constructed by the monks of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, while the parsonage occupies the ancient monastic home.
- Departure to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert to discover this lovely village and the Gellone Abbey.
