Day 1 Traditional Farm and Saintes Maries de la Mer
In the morning, meet your local guide o visit a a typical Camargue farm: a Manade. There, be welcomed by the owner (manadier). This man will tell you about the traditions of this land and how people live in this type of farm.
They would proudly explain the work and life in these lands and why they chose to do it. Proud of their traditions they try to keep it and happily share it with you.
Meet the local star animal: the Camargue Bull. Also enjoy a horse show and visit the place, guided by the farm owner.
Lunch: Stop for lunch in the traditional farm.
In the afternoon, walking tour in the small but very lovely village of Les Saintes Maries de la Mer. This village is famous for being a pilgrimage place. Have a tour through the small streets and visit the beautiful church. Its architecture is a typical one from southern France and preserve lot of devotion items.
Here, meet Saint Sarah, the saint who protect the gypsies and who also helped the two saint Marys xhen they arrived over the Mediterranean Coast.
